What we collect, why, and how to get it out again. Last updated September 18, 2026.
1. What we collect
We try to collect as little as we can get away with. Specifically:
- Account data (if you register): your display name, email address, and a hashed password.
- Newsletter subscription: just your email address, and a per-subscriber token used for one-click unsubscribe.
- Comments: the text you post, the display name attached to it, timestamps, and (for guests) a session cookie that lets you edit or delete your own comment.
- Contact form submissions: your name, email, subject line, message body, plus your IP address and browser user-agent string (recorded for abuse prevention).
- Standard server logs: your IP address and the URL you requested, kept short-term for security and debugging.
2. Why we collect it
To run the site: authenticating your account, sending the newsletter, letting you comment and be replied to, replying to your contact-form messages, and keeping the site up and free of abuse. That’s it. We don’t sell your data, we don’t share it with advertisers, and we don’t use it to profile you.
3. Third parties
We use Tattico as our source of match, fixture and player data. Data flows from Tattico to ForzaComo; your personal data (account, newsletter, comments, contact messages) is not shared with Tattico or any other third party except our email provider, which delivers newsletters and contact-form notifications on our behalf.
We currently do not use analytics services, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels.
4. Cookies
We set a session cookie so you can stay signed in, and a CSRF cookie so form submissions are safe. Guest commenters get a cookie that lets them edit or delete their own comment for a limited window. That’s all — no advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Your rights
You can:
- Access and edit your account data from the account settings page.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the one-click link at the bottom of every email.
- Edit or delete your own comments (signed-in users) from your account page.
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us.
6. Retention
Account and newsletter data is kept while your account or subscription is active. Comments remain published until you or a moderator remove them. Contact-form submissions and server logs are retained for a reasonable period for support and abuse-prevention purposes, then deleted.
7. Contact
